{"id":1030,"date":"2025-02-21T05:18:36","date_gmt":"2025-02-21T05:18:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/duggarsamvad.in\/?p=1030"},"modified":"2025-02-21T05:18:38","modified_gmt":"2025-02-21T05:18:38","slug":"arunachal-frontier-highway-to-be-a-game-changer-for-border-areas-rijiju","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/duggarsamvad.in\/?p=1030","title":{"rendered":"Arunachal Frontier Highway to Be a Game Changer for Border Areas: Rijiju"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Union Minister <strong>Kiren Rijiju<\/strong> on Thursday hailed the <strong>Arunachal Frontier Highway<\/strong> as a \u201c<strong>game changer<\/strong>\u201d for the state\u2019s border areas, announcing that <strong>Rs 42,000 crore<\/strong> will be invested in the project, marking the <strong>highest allocation ever made by the Centre for a single project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at the <strong>39th Statehood Day celebrations<\/strong> in Arunachal Pradesh, Rijiju emphasized that the <strong>1,400 km long Arunachal Frontier Highway<\/strong> will transform the region by connecting <strong>12 districts along the India-China boundary<\/strong>, including <strong>Tawang<\/strong>, <strong>Mago<\/strong>, <strong>Upper Subansiri<\/strong>, <strong>Mechuka<\/strong>, and <strong>Vijaynagar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project, which will feature an <strong>800 km greenfield section<\/strong> and <strong>new tunnels and bridges<\/strong>, aims to significantly boost infrastructure and connectivity in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Governor Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik<\/strong> also addressed the event, acknowledging the <strong>state\u2019s development<\/strong> and reaffirming the government\u2019s commitment to <strong>boosting infrastructure<\/strong>. Parnaik highlighted the importance of education, cleanliness, and addressing the growing <strong>drug menace<\/strong> in the state. He urged the community to take responsibility for maintaining <strong>hygiene<\/strong> and <strong>environmental management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the event, <strong>Chief Minister Pema Khandu<\/strong> discussed the newly framed rules under the <strong>Arunachal Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act (APFRA)<\/strong>, clarifying that the rules are meant to <strong>safeguard indigenous cultures and beliefs<\/strong>, not target any specific religious group.
