{"id":1038,"date":"2025-02-24T06:42:06","date_gmt":"2025-02-24T06:42:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/duggarsamvad.in\/?p=1038"},"modified":"2025-02-24T06:42:09","modified_gmt":"2025-02-24T06:42:09","slug":"jkpcc-chief-tariq-hameed-karra-slams-bjp-over-statehood-commitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/duggarsamvad.in\/?p=1038","title":{"rendered":"JKPCC Chief Tariq Hameed Karra Slams BJP Over Statehood Commitment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jammu, February 2025:<\/strong> Claiming that the people of <strong>Jammu and Kashmir<\/strong> are suffering badly due to the absence of powers with the elected Government, <strong>JKPCC chief Tariq Hameed Karra<\/strong> today asked <strong>BJP<\/strong> to explain whether the commitment to restore <strong>Statehood<\/strong> was another <em>\u2018Jumla\u2019<\/em> of the <strong>Modi Government<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing a workers\u2019 convention of <strong>District Jammu Rural<\/strong> in the <strong>Muthi area of Jammu<\/strong>, Karra questioned the <strong>local BJP<\/strong> for its silence over the <strong>neglect of the most popular demand<\/strong> of the people of <strong>J&amp;K<\/strong>. He criticized the BJP for failing to fulfill promises made before Parliament, the <strong>Supreme Court<\/strong>, and the people of <strong>J&amp;K<\/strong> during recent Assembly elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Karra further asserted that the <strong>Congress Party<\/strong> would not rest until the <strong>Central Government<\/strong> fulfills its commitment to <strong>restore Statehood<\/strong>. He also pointed out the <strong>silence of local BJP leaders and MLAs<\/strong> despite securing a huge mandate from the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cIs this not a continued deceit of the Centre over the most fundamental demand of the general public and their rightful claim?\u201d<\/em> he questioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He emphasized that people in <strong>J&amp;K<\/strong> are suffering due to the lack of an elected government, and various sections, including <strong>unemployed youth, daily wagers, contractual employees, adhoc workers, NHM employees, Anganwadi and Asha workers, and SPOs<\/strong>, continue to wait for justice from the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Karra highlighted that <strong>Dogras<\/strong> are the worst affected, having lost their <strong>identity, status, dignity, and rights<\/strong> to protect their <strong>land, jobs, and natural resources<\/strong>.
