The prime minister extended a warm invitation<\/strong> for Williams to visit India, calling her \u201cone of its most illustrious daughters.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfter your return, we are looking forward to seeing you in India. It will be a pleasure for India<\/strong> to host you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modi recalled his 2016 meeting<\/strong> with Williams and her late father Deepak Pandya<\/strong> during his visit to the United States.<\/strong> He also mentioned a recent conversation with Mike Massimino<\/strong> in New Delhi, where they spoke about Williams’ remarkable achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
