Gavai and Augustine George Masih<\/strong> told the petitioner\u2019s counsel, <em>\u201cIt is a policy matter. You ask Parliament to enact the law.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While <strong>disposing of the plea<\/strong>, the court granted the petitioner <strong>liberty to make a representation to the authorities<\/strong>, directing that if such a request is made, it should be <strong>considered within eight weeks<\/strong> as per the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The petition, filed by <strong>Zep Foundation<\/strong> through advocate <strong>Mohini Priya<\/strong>, urged the <strong>Centre<\/strong> to implement a <strong>strict age verification system<\/strong>, such as <strong>biometric authentication<\/strong>, to regulate children\u2019s access to social media.
