On the occasion of Civil Services Day<\/strong>, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar<\/strong> delivered a strong message emphasizing the indispensable role of civil servants<\/strong> in safeguarding India\u2019s federal structure and ensuring transparent governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at a programme organized by the Federation of Rajasthan Trade and Industries (FORTI)<\/strong> in Jaipur<\/strong>, Dhankhar commended the civil services for their pivotal contribution to democracy and national progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCivil Services are paramount for growth and stability. But corruption within the system is extremely dangerous for federal politics,\u201d<\/em> he warned.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dhankhar underlined that as different political parties govern various states<\/strong>, the role of impartial, rule-bound bureaucracy<\/strong> becomes even more significant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCivil servants are the protectors of federalism. They must commit to orderly and law-abiding conduct,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He cautioned against alliances between bureaucrats and elements of the political system, or select groups from business, trade, or commerce<\/strong>, calling such collusions detrimental to the integrity of governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calling for transparency and accountability<\/strong>, Dhankhar urged civil servants to uphold the highest standards<\/strong> in public service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe expect our civil servants to set examples for others to follow \u2014 in conduct, ethics, and decision-making,\u201d<\/em> he added.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
