She clinched <strong>gold in LOBA (Fight)<\/strong> and <strong>silver in the Autistic category<\/strong>, playing a key role in India\u2019s overall <strong>second-place finish<\/strong> in the medal tally. <strong>Host nation Russia<\/strong> claimed the championship, while <strong>Uzbekistan<\/strong> secured third place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Disha, daughter of <strong>Praduman Krishan Pandith<\/strong> and <strong>Jyoti<\/strong>, is currently pursuing an <strong>integrated degree in Zoology<\/strong>. Her latest victory adds to an already impressive record\u2014this being her <strong>sixth international medal<\/strong>, including a previous <strong>gold at the Sqay World Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking to <em>Excelsior<\/em>, Disha shared her pride in the achievement and credited her success to the unwavering support of her <strong>coach, Grandmaster Nazir Ahmad Mir<\/strong>, and her family. \u201cIt\u2019s their guidance and encouragement that help me balance both sports and studies,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond her personal achievements, Disha is passionate about <strong>training young Sqay practitioners in Jammu and Kashmir<\/strong>. She aims to <strong>promote self-defense among women<\/strong>, empowering them to become strong, confident, and resilient.
