He stated, \u201cMake in India has given an impetus to India\u2019s entrepreneurs, thus creating a global impact.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n The Prime Minister called for intensified efforts towards indigenous production, emphasizing the government’s commitment to fostering a \u2018Swadeshi\u2019 economy. He reiterated that the government stands strongly with various stakeholders in this endeavor.<\/p>\n During the occasion, PM Modi inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show-2025, where he outlined several government reforms aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business in India. He mentioned that the government has eliminated over 40,000 unnecessary compliance requirements.<\/p>\n \u201cThe government is putting a strong emphasis on Make in India manufacturing. We want everything from chip to ship to be manufactured in India,\u201d he declared, highlighting ongoing policy changes aimed at supporting local industries.<\/p>\n Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal also praised the centre’s efforts in indigenous defence production, stating that \u201cThe world is a witness to India\u2019s defence manufacturing strength today!\u201d<\/strong> Goyal attributed these successes to the Make in India initiative, which has guided the nation in building a robust defence manufacturing ecosystem.<\/p>\n To further illustrate the initiative’s success, the Defence Ministry confirmed the successful launch of the Intermediate Range Agni-Prime Missile, designed to reach up to 2,000 km.
